Sunset at Mandurah Dolphin Quay

I was in Perth for the past week. The weather was great, and the leaves on the trees were turning to autumn colors. We made a short trip to Margaret river, and on the way there we stopped by the city of Mandurah and had dinner at Dolphin Quay.

Honestly, I didn’t think we would see dolphins there, but I was pleasantly surprised to spot one playful dolphin while we were having dinner! Unfortunately I didn’t manage to capture the moment as my hands were full with the delicious Moreton bay bug pizza we ordered. It was a shame, but I definitely want go back for more dolphin spotting again!

Jinju Lantern Festival

Jinju lantern festival, or Jinju Namgang Yudeng Festival (진주 남강유등축제) is a festival that is held in the month of October in Gyeongsangnam-do, Jinju-si. Last year, I made a trip to Busan, and was lucky to see the opening of the festival on the 1st of October.

We started off the trip in the late afternoon as the trip took ~2hrs from Busan to Jinju. The leaves on the trees were just starting to turn yellow, and unfortunately I couldn’t stay long enough to see the peak of the fall colours which usually happens around late October.
